The Hispanic Coalition receives the Woman’s Sports Foundation and espnW Grant.

The Womenâ€™s Sports Foundation and espnW presented the Hispanic Coalition of Greater Waterbury, Inc. with a 2017 Sports 4 Life grant. The Hoops-n-Laces grant was intended to increase participation and retention of girls- ages 11 to 18 years old- in youth athletics. By making sports more accessible, Sports 4 Life allows young females the chance to learn the foundational benefits of sports, such as leadership, confidence, self-esteem, and perseverance.The sports for life grant was awarded nationwide to 52 organizations.
