Hispanic Coalition receives funds from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal

A square with four squares and the letters hcgHispanic Coalition received a check in the amount of $3,575 from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal through its Vicariate Outreach Program.

The funding will help Hispanic Coalition continue the mission to provide needed services as identified by our community and with our goal, to foster the creation of successful individuals by enhancing the quality of life of our Hispanic Families and the diverse population in the City of Waterbury, CT.  The donation will be used to purchase food for our Senior Center, La Casa Bienvenida. La Casa Bienvenida was founded by Father L. Randall Blackall in 1991.

About the Archbishop Annual Appeal

Since 1981, the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal has been able to assist tens of thousands of people – regardless of race, religion, or color- across the Archdiocese of Hartford with health care, education, housing, emergency expenses, and in numerous other areas. It is through the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal Vicariate Outreach Program and the generosity of its donors that the Appeal is able to assist a wide array of community-based charities throughout Hartford, New Heaven and Litchfield Counties.
