October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Hispanic Coalition of Greater Waterbury and La Casa Bienvenida Senior Center wore pink in honor of the “Pink Out Day” fundraiser which raised over $50,000 for Waterbury’s Saint Mary’s Hospital. The funds all go towards funding treatments and testing for all patients including those who are un or under insured.
