Time to get ready for the back to school season. Part of the preparation is to start a morning schedule, eat a healthy breakfast, make dedicated TV-free time, stick to a bedtime routine, read every day, and stock up on school supplies.

This year, The Hispanic Coalition of Greater Waterbury prepared three back to school events. Families were assisted with school uniforms as well as back to school supplies and backpacks at The Hispanic Coalition Recreation Center. The agency assisted a total of 220 students with school uniforms and other 213 students were given backpacks full of school supplies.

In addition, The Hispanic Coalition participated in another back to school events with orientation.
