Connecticut Public Radio visited La Casa Bienvenida early last week and captured our Hispanic elders receiving a presentation on Alzheimer’s disease from the Alzheimer’s Association.

Maria Canales, community educator at the Alzheimer’s Association, spoke in Spanish to about thirty attendees and emphasized how this disease affects not only the patient, but their whole family.

It was a successful and informational event for our elders and community. To read the article please visit ctpublic.org.
