Youth Prevention Grant from the State of Connecticut Black and Puerto Rican Caucus.

Championed by Geraldo Reyes, State Representative of the 75th District, this two-year grant will provide programs and activities addressing gun violence, drug and alcohol use, suicide, and bullying. The Hispanic Coalition has integrated athletic programming, such as the Waterbury Huskies travel basketball team, and our LACE Youth Leadership Program which have served over 100 youth from the community. The youth take part in workshops, cultural and athletic events, and youth leadership initiatives.
